MWCOG Testified in Springfield

Last week Hampshire President Mike Reid was in Springfield testifying for HB2790 which is an initiative of Metro West. This legislation will give non-home rule municipalities the same authority as home rule currently has to allow business licensing. Additionally, it will help to ensure public safety, foster economic growth and maintain order. The legislation passed through committee and will be headed to the floor for a vote.
