Another Successful Legislative BBQ & Session Review

Nearly 100 people attended this year’s Legislative BBQ, held at the Elburn Lions Club on June 19th. Assistant Majority Leader Linda Holmes (l) and Senator Donald DeWitte (r) presented a legislative review of municipal issues from the spring session. The Senators discussed Local Government Distributive Fund, elimination of the grocery tax, pension obligations and working together in Springfield. We appreciated their expertise and bipartisanship.
