Our Signature Events

The Metro West Legislative Breakfast is an opportunity for members and business partners to engage with state legislators through personal, rotating table-side discussions. With ample time for networking, this well attended event (100+ people) brings mayors, village managers, alderpersons and trustees together to prioritize municipal concerns and legislative issues with legislators. In 2025 Legislative Breakfast our was held at Elgin Community College. Several sponsorship opportunities are offered to increase your company’s visibility and show your support.

The Metro West Legislative Barbecue combines a relaxed atmosphere, with casual networking, for a truly special social event! This legislative session review highlights the progress and outcomes made on the Metro West membership's municipal priorities and is made by a Democrat and Republican legislator team offering a unique perspective to attendees. Held at Lions Park in Elburn, this indoor picnic-style event is a favorite event among the Metro West membership with over 100 people in attendance.

The Annual Metro West Golf Outing is all about networking! Members and business partners come together to play a round of golf, compete for prizes and share a meal in a fun-filled atmosphere! Take a chance and win one of many raffle baskets donated by the Metro West municipalities.This year, our Golf Outing will be held at a new location - Whitetail Ridge Golf Dome in Oswego. Several different sponsorships are available, and depending on the level, complimentary tickets and a dedicated bay, allow companies to mix and mingle with their chosen guests.
