From January 8 to March 5, 2021, CMAP is accepting funding applications for surface transportation projects that improve transit, bicycle facilities, freight and traffic movement and safety, fix bridges, reconstruct roads, and invest in alternative fuel vehicles and equipment. Funding for these projects will be distributed through federal sources that CMAP programs: Surface Transportation Program (STP) Shared Fund, Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ), and locally programmed Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP-L).
